Highguard Previs Concept Mountain Tower

As we delved deeper into the world we were building, we began to solidify a lot. This was done as a part of what we called "action blocks" as a team. A few weeks were everyone, within their own discipline be it game design, animation, fx and art, prepped a bunch of work to pitch to the team to help lock down pillars of the future game. Here you see a POI concept, a squad of three, high up in a mountain-scape approaching some sort of magic tower. A fallen stone giant subtly revealed in the side of the cliff side. This image and composition heavily inspired by one of my favorite Thom Tenery pieces "Gethen Rising".
